What is the cancellation policy?
50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 30 days before arrival or earlier. Nonrefundable if cancelled after.
What is the check in and check out time?
Check in is anytime after 3:00pm and Check out is by 11:00am.
Is there cell phone service ?
Cell phone service is spotty in the area but the wifi is great and you can connect to wifi calling for full cell service on the property.
Do you allow pets?
ABSOLUTELY NO PETS! Our insurance policy does not cover pets so we unfortunately have to be strict with our no pet rule. An additional minimum $100 cleaning fee will be charged if any pet hairs are found inside the property, in addition to any damage fees.
Is smoking allowed?
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING inside or near front doors or anything upholstered outside that could hold the smell. You will be charged a $500 smoke removal fee if any smoke smell is detected.
What is your Covid safety/cleaning protocol?
Our cleaners follow CDC cleaning guidelines to thoroughly clean and disinfect all the properties prior to each guest check in.
Is there high speed internet?
Yes we provide excellent high speed internet.
Is there heat and AC?
Yes all of our properties provide heat and AC.
Do you allow events?
We currently do not allow events but plan on allowing events, such as weddings, in the future.
Can I book more than one place at the same time?
Yes, as long as the properties are available, guests are welcome to book more than one place.
Is there private parking?
Each guest has one private parking space and overflow areas for up to one additional vehicle or trailer/towed item.
What kind of car should we be driving?
During the winter months, we recommend AWD or 4WD, though it is not always absolutely necessary (depending on weather).
Where is the nearest airport?
The nearest major airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport at approximately 2 hours from the property.
What about property access during winter months?
We do plow the driveways if there is significant snow and provide a snow shovel for guests to use during their stay.
Will we see wildlife at the property?
You can expect to see deer, birds, squirrels and various small animals.
Do we need to bring our own firewood?
Propane fire tables are included at all of the tiny homes, with propane provided. The Tiny Sustainer also hosts a wood-burning fire pit, for which you should bring your own firewood.
